I moved to Boise, Idaho from the bay area of San Francisco in order to improve my standard of living. I have a wife and ten year old son and we enjoy the benefits of living in a smaller community close to fishing and beautiful places to camp in our pop-up trailer.
I enjoy photography and have swapped my darkroom and film cameras for computers and digital movie and still cameras. I have shot over 6500 pictures on my Nikon Coolpix 950 and am looking forward to an upgrade soon.

What a sight!
This is the view near Seven Devils campground. At 8,000 feet there are only six campsites and primitive pit toilets. The views are magnificent. Just over the crest of this butte there is a 7,000 foot drop into Hell's Canyon, deeper than the Grand Canyon. The Salmon River is crystal clear as it enters the canyon.
